How it works

AstrumU LevelSet™

Translation-Engine-as-a-Service™

AstrumU®’s TEaaS™ Platform has been optimized for data organized around a sophisticated indexing architecture that enables AstrumU® to span multiple product categories covering many dimensional views in support of highly complex capabilities.  We have built this technical architecture with interoperability and performance as key underpinnings for our living data model – the AU Learning Index™.
Multi-sourced content and activity capture

our technology captures content, user activity, presentation, and other data by using our Ingestion engine.  The technology reconciles, organizes and indexes this information and uses machine learning to produce insights that drive improved organization, search results, suggestions, and other capabilities.

Comprehensive contextual index

our index of learner’s content, context and activity is both broader and richer than any other index. With continuous indexing across all applications, and extensible capabilities to incorporate third-party feeds and services as data sources, our dataset unlocks the true potential of AI with contextually inferred user data derived across pathways and knowledge databases.

Machine Learning

our learners connect with highly aligned matches to cultivated opportunities (internships, projects and jobs).  These matches are derived from our learners’ verifiable data, context and usage patterns to cue relevancy and relationships between items that result in predictive insights leading to opportunity recommendations, ranking, student segmentation and identifiable success patterns.

LevelSet Platform services

this was architected from the beginning to deliver functionality to any application on any device across all major platforms.  With the most comprehensive lifelong learner activity and content index ever assembled, our platform was architected not only to optimize its own application functionality with insights, but to offer indexing, triggers, and insights to third party applications that integrate with LevelSet.

Security / privacy

our features enable user control of what content is blocked from being indexed, coupled with data transmission and storage that incorporates multiple layers of security, including authentication and authorization checks, encryption both at rest and within AstrumU®’s infrastructure, and access logging. AstrumU® is SOC-2 compliant, resulting in industry standard governance that has strict access control policies, derived from the principle of least privilege, to keep our customers’ data safe.

AstrumU LevelSet™

“LevelSet, our AI Translation Engine is at the core of the data service of AstrumU®’s Translation Engine-as-a-service™. This capability translates various features to describe the demand and supply side of talent acquisition & management. LevelSet uses elegant mathematical models that enable AstrumU® Pathway Intelligence® to deliver on our Education Value Index™. As a result, we can continuously improve our engine to help effectively measure Lifelong Learner Pathways® from education to employment and quantify the return on investment of educational experiences.”

The Process of Product

“The AstrumU TagSet™ is a tool that is leveraged by our Data Science team to manually map skills to courses. By providing this product to professors or SMEs at the universities or companies, we can capture and validate skills that were missed or need greater clarification as part of the automated process. ”
