This mentality may have gained popularity in the mid-2010s, but it has peaked, and now it has been sardonically renamed “Burnout Culture.” So why exactly is Hustle Culture the wrong path to take? What damage can it cause? What is a viable, sustainable alternative to hustle culture? How can we move from Frenzy To Focus? I come from a background where we had to work hard for what we had. My family had a hard time getting by in certain periods of my life, and I worked my way through school. In fact, one of my first jobs was at 12 mowing lawns and selling candy at school to help make ends meet. I became a CEO at the age of 39, incorporating positive lessons learned. One big lesson is the idea that no matter the level you achieve in life, imposter syndrome is real; at some point in their careers most people have questions about their ability to handle situations or problems. ...
